Celtic Woman Coming to Radio City Music Hall For One Night Only

“Riverdance for the voice” is coming to Radio City Music Hall for one night only on Sunday, March 11, 2012. Celtic Woman is the international all-female singing group brought to life by David Downes, the former music director of the Irish stage show Riverdance. Their BELIEVE album and live concert DVD released January 24th, and Celtic Woman’s North American tour began on February 3rd in Nashville.

The show begins at 3:00 pm on Sunday, and the ticket prices range from $48.50 – $78.50 on Ticketmaster. There is an eight ticket limit per party.

• Celtic Woman is all-female group created in 2004 by David Downes, the former music director of the Irish stage show Riverdance.

• David Downes initially brought together five female Irish musicians: Chloe Agnew, Orla Fallon, Lisa Kelly, Meav Ni Mhaolchatha, and fiddler Mairead Nesbitt.

• Collectively, Celtic Woman has sold six million records worldwide.
